My Poker Monkey - Video Games Review

Check out World Championship Poker 2 by Howard Lederer for XBOX Live, PS2 Playstation 2, and PSP Play Station Portable it's kind of a slow game but all in all if you are a hard core poker player this can really sink you in the poker world. You can create your own characters and even give them promotional shirts from Card-Sharx Apparel or even have your own personality where when certain poker card events happen you will change what you say. All in all I would give this game a 5 out of 10 the concept was cool in fact there is a bluff meter where when you are hard playing or bluffing you have to quickly use your thumb skills on the analog stick to make sure you keep a straight face which I found very intriguing.

After a while of play you kind of get bored and you can use your money to buy things for your apartment through underground Texas Holdem Tournaments or save up your cash to get to a pro poker tour or possibly a world tour. But it get boring quick because of the stagnant player sayings and limited personalities this is a better game played online but lets be honest if you are going to play poker online you might as well just download from Full Tilt poker or Poker Stars and play on there.

I would not recommend this game unless you had a lot of time on your hands or if you are not 18 and over to play online poker yet.
